A debate and speculation about the "white light" captured by the Mars probe on the surface of the red planet Curiosity takes place over the past two days. Some optimistic views are that this is the light created by aliens while experts initially consider it to be the sparkling light reflected from a rock or by the collision of the rays cylinder.

'In thousands of photos received from Curiosity, we see so many white lights appear every week,' said Justin Maki from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) - the construction captain and Operate Curiosity's Camera Navigation Camera - say.

' It was created by the collision of cosmic rays or it was just the sunlight reflected from the rocks , that's the most logical explanation , ' said Justin Maki.

The expert added that if the bright spot was taken on April 2 and April 3 stems from the rocks reflecting sunlight, the rocks could be about 160 meters away from the carriage.

However, NASA also admitted there was a bit of anomalies in the spotlight in this spread picture.

'The light appears from Navcam's right eye but the image does not appear in the same second on the left eye of the camera. Normally, we can quickly determine the source of the spotlight in the photos based on whether the image appears simultaneously in the camera pair. In this case, the identification of the light source is not easy because the vision is hidden in the second camera on the first day (April 2 - PV) '.

It is known that the Jet Propulsion Laboratory is part of NASA's Mars Science Laboratory (MSL) Project. This project designed and built the Curiosity spacecraft and its operations on Mars.

Currently, the researchers also plan to use Curiosity's scientific devices to learn about past living conditions and environmental changes at the cliffs in Sharp's slopes inside Gale Crater and a Other locations on Mars.
