Juno solar powered spacecraft was launched into space on August 5, 2011 by NASA, expected to arrive in Moc Tinh on July 4, 2016. Juno's mission is to gather information so that people who study Jupiter's formation and development are equally important to map the magnetic field surrounding it, to see if the planet has water or not etc .

Jupiter lies about 779 million kilometers from the Sun, five times more distant than the distance between the Earth and the Sun. A day on Jupiter is about 10 hours Earth time and 1 year of the planet lasts about 12 years.

It is expected that Juno will fly 37 around Jupiter for 20 months (our time) at an altitude of about 5000km to collect data, before completing our mission. Understanding this planet is thought to help scientists discover more about our solar system.
