The yellow weasel was taken to Boronia Veterinary Hospital in Melbourne, Australia after being discovered by the people on the ground.
Stephen Reinisch, a veterinarian, told The Age newspaper that the ferret might have fallen off her mother's back. Despite the difficulties, the 5-month-old weasel is still in good health.
"Ferrets are yellow because of mutations that cause a decrease in melanin pigmentation , " Boronia Veterinary Hospital explained on Facebook.
