New hypothesis about X-ray halo around the black hole
The giant black hole in the middle of the galaxy is about to be "full of belly" after a large group of asteroids are being sucked towards it.

That is the conclusion of a team of astronomers while trying to understand why the black hole Sagittarius A * emits the right glow once every day and lasts more than a few hours at a time, according to the Daily. Mail.
The expert team, led by Kastytis Zubovas of the University of Leceister (UK), suspected that this situation was caused by a crowd of asteroids revolving around the black hole, objects deprived of their solar system.
The X-ray halo that appears around the black hole is a long-standing mystery for astronomers
According to calculations, these asteroids are approaching the area only about 160 million kilometers away from Sagittarius A *, the distance between the sun and the earth. And once they get into this area, they will be caught by this black hole "tearing up and swallowing".
When crumbling bodies fly through hot air streams flowing into the black hole, they evaporate and emit X-rays.
The rest of the asteroids will soon be buried in the black hole Sagittarius A *, estimated at about 4 million times the sun.
Experts hope the hypothesis is the most correct answer to the long-standing mystery about X-rays around the black hole, according to a report published in the Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society.
