Perfume can make women more beautiful

The scent can change the way we perceive the attractiveness and sense of beauty of others. For example, the female face will become more attractive if there is a pleasant perfume.

The above conclusion is drawn from the research of experts from the Monell Chemical Sensing Center (USA). Janina Seubert, cognitive neurologist, head of the study, emphasized: " The pleasantness of the aroma and attractiveness of the face merges in a common emotional assessment. This can indicate a general neurological treatment area in the brain ".

Fragrances and fragrant products have been used for centuries as a way of upholding each individual's appearance.

Previous studies have shown that the perception of the attractiveness of the face may be affected when there is an interference of pleasant scents or offensive odors. However, scientists have not yet known, whether scent affects the visual perception of facial features or how the brain evaluates the face according to emotion.

The new study has focused on the principle that attractiveness and age include two separate methods of recognition: attractiveness is viewed as an emotional process, while age assessments are believe is based on reason or experience. This implies, the sense of smell and sight affect the assessment of the attractiveness of the face independently.

For the task of evaluating age, visual signs of age (more wrinkles and skin blemishes) lead to a sense of the older person.

However, the comfort of scent has a mixed effect. Specifically, the visual signs of age have a stronger effect on the sense of age in the process of stimulating pleasant smells, making the older face look older and the baby's face looking younger. This effect is impaired if unpleasant odors appear, so the old faces and children are evaluated almost similar to age.

So, the advice for women is, if you want other people to see your face more beautiful, you can anoint the perfume with a pleasant, attractive smell . Of course, the more beautiful face doesn't mean they look younger.
