Snakes look very poor
Except for a few animals that have a special ability to hunt in the daytime, most snakes do not see well. Usually, they only see shapes, not see details.
Poor vision originates from the history of evolution when snakes are those who crawl in the cave, live in darkness, so there is no need to use much eyes.

Solid vipe can see clearly in the dark night with a special trick. Two recesses on both sides of their heads can feel infrared light like a pair of night-vision glasses. These two niches, not the eyes, transmitted the prey image to the snake's brain.
Another interesting thing is that the cobra has a sense of sensitivity so that it can hit the enemy's eyes to release poison.
