The American people roared because of the mysterious circle on the pond

The appearance of many strange circles on the pond surface in New York State, USA, made some people think of extraterrestrial beings.

On March 23, the snowstorm struck Eden, New York state. During the snow storm, Peggy Gervase, a woman at Eden, looked towards the pond near her house and saw the snow covering the pond surface. But when she looked closely at the pond surface, she saw many large circles.

"I've never seen such circles on the surface of that pond," Mrs. Peggy told WGRZ.

After Gervase published a picture of the circles on Facebook, many people hypothesized about them - like elephant footprints, fish effects. Some even argue that circles are traces that alien creatures leave behind.

Although the opinion that alien creatures have created circles in many fields around the world, Mrs. Gervase does not believe that they have created circles on the surface of the pond.

The most scientific hypothesis suggests that, when a snowstorm falls, the water on the surface of the pond is slightly colder than the water below. Because it is warmer, the water below moves up and melts snow on the pond surface, creating circles. In addition, the decomposition process of plants on the pond bottom can create gases. These gases escape to the surface of the pond at a rather slow speed, creating circles.
