Last week, while an astronaut on ISS used 'toilet' , the toilet fan motor stopped working. Wastewater collection section of the 'toilet' has since been flickering. Fortunately, the 'toilet' ' solid waste' collection department is still normal. The astronauts did not know the cause of the incident and were unable to repair.

Therefore, three astronauts on ISS are temporarily "resolving sadness" through a backup system that looks like a bag. However, the capacity of this system is quite limited.

Specialized 'Toilet' on ISS is procured by NASA and worth up to 19 million USD. However, a 'toilet' incident can still cause human waste to spill and spread throughout ISS.

The NASA Aerospace Agency, the US, said earlier this week the new Discovery shuttle could carry equipment and workers to repair the 'toilet' to ISS.

Allard Beutel, a NASA spokesman, said: "Just as in a home anywhere, maintaining a toilet is very important."

According to Nicole Clouutier - spokesman for Johnson Space Center in Houston, 7-year-old 'toilet' on ISS once had a problem but lasted like this time.

So far, NASA is not sure which Discovery ship items will have to be temporarily removed to make room for 'toilet' replacements on the ISS.
