Atlantis launched into space

At 11:15 pm in the Eastern United States, or 22:15 PM, the Atlantis space ship left the Kennedy Space Center in Florida with the mission to increase the energy source for the International Space Station (International Space Station).

The launch took place on time, NASA fixed. During 11 days and nights, 6 crew members will have 3 space walks, installing two 70m-long solar battery arms, doubling the energy source for the ISS station.
