The Atlantis ship left the launch pad at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida last afternoon. As planned, this spacecraft will reach Hubble tomorrow.
After the telescope approached Atlantis, astronauts would make five space walks to install a new control dial, a battery and a Hubble insulation.
The journey of the astronauts lasts 11 days and is expected to extend the life of this planet's largest space telescope to at least 2014, as well as improve its vision in the universe.
NASA has been sending travelers to Hubble four times since it was launched into orbit in 1990.
