In 2019 the Chinese space station will fall to Earth

China's second space experiment station will fall back to Earth in July 2019 and will be destroyed under control.

The National Space Agency announced that it would return to Earth in July 2019 and be destroyed under control. Just six months ago, the Thien Cung-1 space station attracted a lot of attention when suddenly coming out of orbit in an uncontrollable way.

According to CNN, Thien Cung-1 fell to the South Pacific in April 2018, largely burning in the atmosphere before falling into the ocean.

The Thien Cung-2 space station was launched into orbit in 2016. According to Chinese media, it carried out 14 projects and carried a load of 600kg."Heavenly Palace-2 has completed its mission in two years, all loads are in good condition," said Lin Xiqiang, deputy director of China Space Engineer Office.

'It will be in orbit until July 2019 and then be controlled to leave orbit' - he said.

In 2016, two astronauts spent a month inside Thien Cung-2 to perform one of China's longest space missions. According to Chinese central media, they carried out experiments involving drugs, physics and biology.

Thien Cung-2 is only half the time in orbit compared to the 'predecessor'. Thien Cung-1 was launched in 2011 and operated for at least 5 years before stopping functions in March 2016. The cause of the station's shutdown was not disclosed.

The Heavenly Palace program is the first steps to realize China's space goal: The space station is permanently on space around 2022. However, the space station is only one part of its own space ambition. China, according to CNN.

In August 2018, Beijing said it plans to explore the dark side of the moon by the end of 2018, while planning to launch the first Mars reconnaissance program in 2020. 'Our common goal is By 2030, China will become one of the world's spatial powers, 'said National Space Agency deputy director Wu Yanhua in 2016.
