China's Thien Cung 1 Station is about to fall freely

Warnings from experts show that China's first space station - Thien Cung 1 will soon fall freely to Earth.

Sputnik page recently quoted experts as saying that China 's Thien Cung 1 station soon stopped collecting information and has not confirmed the number of remaining days and warned about the risk of free fall to the left. Land not far away.

Dr. Dean Cheng at the Asian Research Center of the Heritage Foundation said that the Chinese authorities keep quiet about the activity of the Heavenly Palace 1 means it is falling freely.

"Thien Cung 1 seems to be leaving orbit in an uncontrollable state," Cheng said. "When you take large objects out of orbit, you need experience to control them when you return to the atmosphere."

Truong Chinh 2F missile carrying Thien Cung -1 module left the launch pad at Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, Gansu Province on September 29, 2011.

Satellite monitoring expert Thomas Dorman said that Thien Cung station could fall freely under controlled conditions.

"The reason China cannot return Thien Cung 1 to Earth is that the space station has run out of fuel and Beijing is waiting for it to fall to a lower orbit before it can destroy it in the air" , Dorman said.

Dorman said that if Thien Cung station was falling freely, it would most likely reach the sea or an uninhabited area. But if it falls into a densely populated area, it will be a disaster.

Previously, the China Controlled Space Technology Office (CMSE) said in a 2014 report: "Thien Cung 1 provides useful data for the mineral survey process, tracking applications. ocean and forest as well as ecological and disaster control. "

Thien Cung space station is China's first space station after it was put on Earth orbit in 2013. So far, it has successfully paired with the country's Shenzhou spacecraft.

Thien Cung 1 officially arrived at the space in September 2011. In June 2012, Thien Cung 1 connected with Than Chau spacecraft 9. One year later, Than Chau 10 connected with Thien Cung 1, allowing three astronauts on the spacecraft to conduct a physical experiment. .

In February last year, China said it would put on Earth the second space laboratory (Thien Cung 2) in the third quarter of 2016.

Thien Cung 2 is a spacecraft developed on the basis of China's first space laboratory (Thien Cung 1). While Thien Cung 1 is tasked to explore and assemble in space, Thien Cung 2 will perform application experiments in space. This is part of China's Thien Cung space station program to build a large space station and have permanent residents in 2022.
