3D Bio Cars for the future
The design team at Emergent in Los Angeles has created a new car made up of a cartilage-like blend and a car that can produce bio-fuel from bio-algae. This idea will solve many of the current traffic problems. The design team hopes to be a bi-car alternative to industrial vehicles in the future.
The Semi-Rigid Car is made using 3D printing technology in a mixture of organic materials, polymers, synthetic rubbers, synthetic resins and silicones. Vehicles have the shape and surface of the sensor equivalent to cartilage.
Future cars have a flexible, rigid frame in place to protect the driver and provide flexibility in position or impact to help it bounce or absorb impact. Photo: Inhabitat.
The chassis is made of artificial cartilage distributed in different thicknesses, depending on the location, giving a certain degree of rigidity where necessary to protect the driver. At the same time, flexible flexion is achieved where the impact is easy. Unlike conventional cars, the impact can be disturbed by the impact of the vehicle, while the chassis of the vehicle can be safely protected.
Garage doors and bonnet are made of synthetic rubber and the chassis is capable of folding as a maid facilitates transportation of vehicles. In addition, the door can be controlled by the same mechanism as the veins, which can be rolled up when humans emit chemical signals.
Even further, the Emergent design team decided that if the outer chassis of the car could be combined like a natural one, they could also apply the internal structure to the interior.
The car itself produces a biofuel deep within its structure, where the plastic cartilage of the outer composite forms deep-walled tanks deep inside the vehicle. These include many bio-based biofuel groups that produce the biofuel needed for the vehicle. Built-in LEDs allow the production of 24/24 fuel without the need for sunlight.
" This car not only has the smooth exterior and aesthetics of a premium sports car, it also frees you from gas and even electricity ," said Emergent.
