60 years ballpoint pen

This week 60 years ago, people sold the first ballpoint pen in the world. Now people live without computers and advanced electronic equipment, but no one forgets the invention.

How to forget when 57 cars are sold every second. Then each ballpoint pen was handed over to many people, bitten and thrown. That is the value of this ordinary item. Although computers and phones are modern and convenient, try asking if anyone dares to throw or bite them when thinking or exasperating.

The birth of a ballpoint pen began with the observation of a Hungarian reporter. One day in 1938, Laszlo Biro endured the bad pen to tear the paper and stain the ink. At that time, Biro observed that the newspaper ink quickly dried. Also available in previous roller balls in deodorant roller bottles. However, only Biro saw the perfect combination of what was available and the ball-point pen. Biro and his brother designed the ballpoint pen at the head. Where the ball rolled, the ink came out and dried up.

There have been many improvements since that time: the writing body is cast in octagonal tubes for easy handling, stainless balls are made of tungsten and the ink is compressed so that it can be written underwater. Ballpoint pen is still an irreplaceable tool, developed from ordinary objects.
