The Mobile  ALOHA robot is the result of two Chinese computer scientists and graduate students named Tony Zhao and Zipeng Fu , after three months of development.

As soon as it was launched, the Moblie ALOHA robot attracted the attention of the technology world because of its ability to coordinate movements smoothly. Specifically, instead of interacting with objects according to pre-programmed coordinates, this robot has the ability to synchronize movement through a mechanical system. This combination will provide data for the artificial intelligence (AI) model to learn and reproduce actions with high accuracy.

According to two experts Zipeng Fu and Tony Zhao, they built the software with advice from professors at Stanford University, then assembled the hardware themselves to save costs. However, the cost of making the Mobile ALOHA robot still costs up to 32,000 USD.

According to experts, the Mobile ALOHA robot is designed to support people in life. It can perform complex tasks, such as cooking and cleaning the house.

The structure of Mobile ALOHA includes two highly flexible arms, and legs that can be moved with wheels. In particular, this robot is equipped with AI. Its AI model is trained on data from human actions. Accordingly, on average, with only about 50 demonstrations for each task, the Mobile ALOHA robot can reproduce with a success rate of over 90%.

In addition, the ability to learn directly also gives Mobile ALOHA robots many advantages over manually programmed and adjusted robots. Stanford University experts said that Mobile ALOHA reaches a speed of 1.4 m/s, equivalent to a pedestrian. Its two arms can reach a height of 2 m and a distance of 1 m, very suitable for manipulation in home or office spaces.

Besides cooking and assisting with housework, in the future, scientists hope that the Mobile ALOHA robot can be improved to be able to take on more difficult jobs , such as completely replacing a person. help in the household, and at the same time apply this robot's technology to many other areas of life.
