In order to meet the visitor's needs during Easter, zoo managers have to set up a separate barrier system to ensure Knut's "fans" can take advantage eyes see this famous bear.

Every day, the baby bear weighs 13.8 kg and is outdoors twice at noon and early afternoon. This is the time you can enjoy jumping on the rocks, wading into the water and performing acrobatics under the witness of hundreds of fans.

To commercialize the event, the zoo launched a series of Knut branded products: T-shirts, advertising posters, postcards, on candy products and on teddy bears. His image was even printed on a credit card by a Berlin bank.

During this time, the Berlin Zoo began separating the cub from the caregiver, Thomas Dorflein, who had been with him since birth. This is being done very carefully to ensure Knut is not compromised.
