The group of experts from Bulgaria's Space Research Institute said they had contacted aliens and sent a complex encoder of symbols. They claim aliens are answering those 30 questions.
Lachezar Filipov, deputy director of the Space Research Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, confirmed this work. He said the center's researchers analyzed 150 circles in fields around the world that they believed were the answers to the questions sent.
"Aliens are living around us, they are constantly watching us , " the Telegraph quoted Filipov as saying. "They are not hostile but want to help people, but because we are not developed enough to be able to contact them directly."
Filipov said even the Vatican agreed that aliens existed. He said people would not be able to establish contact with aliens through radio waves but through thinking power.
The publication of research by Bulgarian scientists occurred amid controversy over the role, feasibility and reform of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
Last week, the case led to a fierce debate between Finance Minister Simeon Djankov and President Georgi Parvanov.
