Amazing radio signal from the star

A signal from the first star that appeared in the early universe was discovered by astronomers using a large radio antenna. According to the study, the ancient sun may have been active within 180 million years.

This ancient star discovery was made through the Epoch of Reionization (EDGES) project.

The leading inventor of the Judd Bowman project at the University of Arizona in the US said: "Finding this tiny star signal has opened a new window for early space research."

Bowman said: "The telescope cannot see directly the images of ancient stars, but it has detected radio waves from these stars from space."

Models of the early universe show that such small stars have large, blue and short wavelengths, which work lately on the cosmic microwave background (CMB) .

The researchers set up the EDGES antenna in the desert to eliminate as much radio noise as possible, selecting an isolated location at the Murchison Radio Astronomical Observatory in Australia, by the Industrial Research Organization. and Commonwealth Science (CSIRO) organized.

Once the signal appears in their data, astronomers have begun a process of more than a year to re-examine their findings, eliminating potential sources of radio interference to make a conclusion. Most accurate results.
