The mysterious radio signal was identified as originating from the universe
Scientists confirm that mysterious radio waves actually come from outer space, not from Earth.
Radio waves (FRB) mysteriously confuse astronomers since it was discovered in 2007. Some argue that this may be a sign of alien life seeking to communicate with people. . Scientists confirm that this mysterious signal actually came from the universe, Phys.org reported.

FRB is a radio signal that appears briefly and randomly, making it difficult to find and study. No one knows what is enough to create such short and strong waves. This led to speculation about the origin of FRB, from the collision between stars to the message of aliens.
The Australian National University team discovered three FRB signals with Molonglo radio telescopes, near Canberra. In 2013, they realized that Molonglo's unique structure could help identify FRB, because its focal length was very large.
Molonglo telescope creates 1,000 TB of data every day. Software development researchers have the ability to flip through this huge amount of information to find FRB. The data from the telescope indicates that all three FBRs originate from the universe, but only one of them is precisely localized in a single galaxy. The FRB position is said to be the key to understanding their origin.
