Announcing new discoveries about violin art

Scientists have long argued that the inventors of the violin wanted to simulate human voices and the results published on May 21 reinforced this point.

Taiwanese scientists (China) have asked a professional violinist to play 15 ancient musical instruments, including one made in 1570 under the "magic hand" of famous Italian artist Andrea Amati - the father of modern 4-string violin.

Meanwhile, other artists play instruments made and improved by artist Antonio Stradivari on the basis of Amati's design.

Scientists also recorded voice tones of 8 men and 8 women, aged 16-30 singing common English songs.

After thorough sound analysis, the researchers found that a vilolin made by Amati in 1570 and a violin made by Gasparo da Salo in 1560 simulated bass and baritone voices of male singers, while the Stradivari violin is quite similar to the female tenor and alto.

No one knows exactly when the violin was born, but the scientists estimated the violin for the first time around the end of the 15th or early 16th century. One of the first artisans first made a violin called Gasparo Bertolotti in the city of Brescia (Italy).

Later work to complete this instrument was done by Crémona artisans.

The founder of this school is Andrea Amati, with the goal of making the sound of the violin reach the same standard as the human voice, which means the sound is very deep, thick and warm with different shades, in when the sound is very flexible, flexible, able to change quickly.
