'We got calls from people from all over Queensland to announce UFOs. People reported that they saw a strange object in the Gold Coast city on August 29. Another person saw UFOs in Childers' town, Gottschall said.
Each year Australians see about 800 UFOs appearing in the sky. However, many people do not tell authorities about the incident.
An interesting case occurred in the town of Wooloowin, Brisbane, when people saw three streams of light hovering in the sky at their home. The police could not find the source of those light streams.
Australian officials confirmed the fact that the number of UFO hunting groups reached a record number.
Kristy Buist, a member of a UFO observation group, said he first saw UFOs when he was 10 years old. Since then, he has always paid attention to them.
'I used to look for UFOs. I search them everywhere. Many people assume that UFOs are non-existent objects, but apparently I saw them four times in my life , 'Buist said.
