Australia confirmed the fragment in Mozambique is by MH370

The most expensive search for air history in the world seems to have come to an end after Australia's announcement.

The Australian Transport Safety Commission (ATSB) on April 20 confirmed the fragments found in Mozambique of the missing number MH370 aircraft in 2014, according to Xinhua.

Australia's Transport Minister, Mr. Darren Chester, also confirmed that the letters and numbers on the fragment were from Malaysia Airlines.

According to Chester, Australia has assessed two fragments collected in Mozambique on March 11 and discovered on debris that says "No Step" , which is the type of letter that Malaysia Airlines uses. By identifying the fragment of MH370, experts hope that one of the mysteries of aviation history will be answered.

Malaysia's MH370 in March 2014 suddenly disappeared while traveling from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, China and 239 people on board.

Australian officials in December last year said the new analysis confirmed they could search in the right place on the Indian Ocean. Last September, French investigators confirmed that a plane debris found on Reunion Island two months earlier was part of the missing MH370.
