Believe in instincts

A new study results show that intuition can help people make quick and accurate decisions as they spend a lot of time brooding.

When faced with difficult decisions, many people may have to spend hours or even days to analyze harm.

However, new research in Portugal shows that being too careful sometimes is not necessary. Instead, we should trust our own intuition and make quick conclusions.

The head of Zachary Mainen of the Champalimaud Neuroscience Program drew the conclusion after observing the experimental mice.

Despite being encouraged to slow down, the subjects made the best decision in a flash, less than 300 milliseconds, according to a report on the Neuron.

Dr. Mainen commented that there are also decisions that take a lot of time to think more carefully. In those cases, intuitively is the best.
