The results show that women appreciate male faces that look like the faces they once saw. The attractiveness of the faces remains unchanged after they look many times. In contrast, men like female faces unlike those they have ever seen. The interesting point is that they feel the attractiveness of every face decreases after they look a second time or more.

The team thinks that men like to see strange women because since primitive times, men have to maximize their fertility by mating with many women. That instinct still exists today.

'Men feel that the female faces they once looked at were no longer as attractive as they first saw. This trend is evident in short-term relationships.
