A German private corporation is opening a space project and hopes to receive a $ 53.6 million grant to bring its first woman to the International Space Station (ISS) by 2020.

The group has received more than 400 records from women wishing to participate in the upcoming flight, including 80 people who have undergone medical and psychological tests at the German Space Center.

After a series of rigorous tests, the German space industry's leading experts selected two of the best candidates: Female pilots who participated in the German Air Force - Nicola Baumann and meteorologist Insa Thiele- Eich.

The final selection round will take place next Wednesday in Berlin. The results of this round will directly select the qualifying person to participate in the country's 2020 space mission, while the other will be in the reserve position.
