Broken tail lizard to distract the enemy

Many lizards can throw away their tails when hunted by enemies. By sacrificing a part of their bodies, they can free themselves and distract the predator's attention.

Even when the tail was split, the nerve tightening caused the tail to wiggle like it was still alive. This bizarre headless object will startle the enemy and help the tailless lizard have a valuable opportunity to escape.

After being at peace, in case of the next critical situation, a new tail will grow from the cartilage. And the original tail originates from the spine. The re-creation took a lot of energy and when the lizard grew older, their tail was less sharp, and thus less attractive to the enemy.
