Buses can run 300km if provided with a fuel tank of biogas, equivalent to 5 people's waste for more than a year. Compared to diesel engines, biogas produces less emissions.

"Biogas-fueled vehicles play an important role in improving air quality in many cities in the UK, and Bio-Bus can even go beyond that standard, working with natural gas. whether from the people in the area, or perhaps from the person sitting on the bus, " Sky News quoted Mohammed Saddiq, director of waste disposal company GENeco.

Engineers believe that biogas can become a sustainable fuel source for public transport, reducing pollution and improving air quality. The use of biogas also contributes to reducing dependence on traditional fossil fuels.
