A 15-year-old Filipino boy invented a device to charge the phone through walking.
Angelo Casimiro describes charging technology by walking - (Snapshot from YouTube)
According to PhoneArena, Angel Casimiro created a shoe pad that could generate electricity when users walk and then use the same power to charge the battery for his smartphone.
However, Angelo's creation can only charge 10 minutes for the iPhone when he plays basketball for 2 hours.
Earlier, SolePower also had a similar product and is expected to hit the market this fall.
SolePower's product can fully charge the iPhone when users walk 5km.
