China built Asia's longest water tunnel
When completed by the end of 2020, a nearly 100km water tunnel in Shaanxi Province, China will divert 1.5 billion cubic meters of water, benefiting 14 million people.

The length of the tunnel is 98.3 km with a maximum depth of 2012m. The project addresses the problem of dams when combined with the Qinling water tunnel to guide the abundance of water from the Han Shui River in the south of Shaanxi Province to the north of the province in Quang Trung and Vi River.
