China completed the most obvious 3D Moon map
Chinese scientists have just announced that they have completed the most obvious 3-dimensional (3D) digital topographic map in the world today.
The panoramic 3D digital terrain map of the Moon has been assessed by experts China passed on September 28. This is a 3D digital map created by processing image data captured by CCD digital camera on Hang Nga-1 satellite.
This map will be a great motivation to promote specific research, rules as well as the cause of the Moon's outer appearance, to help scientists discover more of the Moon geology as well as the history of the Moon. .
This is also an important step, laying a solid foundation for the next Moon exploration work and helping China come closer to the goal of landing on the Moon.
The Hang Nga-1 satellite is China's first Lunar exploration vessel, launched on October 24, 2007.
After the 2003 success of bringing people to space, China aims to launch unmanned equipment to the Moon in 2012 and bring the manned spacecraft to the Moon by 2020.
