It is known that the hot and humid climate of the summer is the most favorable condition to spread the disease. During the spring and summer of last year, the blue ear disease in pigs caused great damage to pig farmers in China.

According to official figures, in the first 5 months of this year, 19,000 pigs died of blue ear disease and another 6,000 were killed to prevent the disease from spreading.
