China farewell the Moon exploration robot
Ngoc Rabbit, China's self-propelled robot, stopped working after 31 months of collecting data on the surface of the Moon.
According to Tech Times, Rabbit Ngoc robot landed on the Moon on December 14, 2013 on Hang Nga unmanned spacecraft 3 . The device was only built to operate for three months and at first there were signs that the Jade Rabbit couldn't even meet that time. However, the robot was active for 972 days, exceeding the 322-day mark due to the Soviet Union's Lunokhod device achieved in 1970.

Ngoc Rabbit officially stopped operating on July 28 after the Hang Nga 3 ship had been inactive for a month, according to China Defense Science, Technology and Industry Agency.
Since landing on the Moon, Rabbit Ngoc robot has attracted a lot of attention when continuously updating information on social network Weibo. Farewell message by Rabbit Ngoc posted 4 days ago received nearly 100,000 likes, shares and comments.
Some believe that this self-propelled device may not actually stop working. A few weeks after the landing on the Moon, the Rabbit Rabbit robot experienced a technical problem and lost its signal. But it revived after two hours and sent the signal back to Earth.
After the Rabbit Ngoc project, China is planning to launch an unmanned spacecraft to the Moon and return to Earth with the specimen. Historically, only two countries - the US and Russia - have successfully carried out this task.
