China Daily reported a report by the China Missile Technology Institute, saying that the fuel tank for Truong Chinh 5 missiles has a diameter of 5 meters and a length of more than 20 meters. The box includes the bottom and 8 tubular chambers on the top.
The China Institute of Rocket Technology confirmed that it has achieved a breakthrough in fuel tank welding technology.
Designing and manufacturing missile fuel tanks is one of the most difficult steps in the process of making boosters.
Currently China has not yet owned a rocket strong enough to serve the flight to the moon. China's third space white paper, published last month, aims to build the 5th, 6th and 7th generation of Truong Chinh missiles in the period from now to 2015. Truong Chinh 5 missiles. Will use non-toxic fuel and does not pollute the environment. It is possible to put an object with a mass of 25 tons on the low orbit of the earth, or an object with a mass of 14 tons on a geostationary orbit.
