Our veins are unique, unlike anyone, and the identification takes about 0.3 seconds.

An artificial intelligence-based AirWave system can read millions of different features from all blood vessels, from major veins to capillaries. The person doesn't even need to stop, he can keep moving. All that was required was that he just waved at the scanner once. According to the creators of this mechanism, our veins are unique, unlike anyone, and the identification takes about 0.3 seconds.

The AirWave system has been tested in several government offices and cafes in Guangdong province in southern China. The developers believe the new identification system will be able to replace cash, bank cards, QR codes and will be able to allow the payment of train tickets and other services.

This technology was presented on the sidelines of the Asia-Europe Development and Innovation Forum in Shanghai.

The Shanghai Information Security Association says it is not safe to put the index and middle finger (symbol V) opposite the scanner. If the hand is no more than 1.5 meters from the lens, the fingerprint may be copied, then there is a risk of being used by law enforcement or criminals.
