One of the three astronauts traveling on the flight will be selected from two female candidates - Liu Yang or Wang Yaping, Xinhua said. It is expected that this Saturday, the Shenzhou 9 spacecraft will be launched with the Changmin 2F rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, Gansu Province, northwest China.

After the Shenzhou 9 and Thien Cung modules were connected, the two astronauts would temporarily move temporarily inside Thien Cung 1, where they would conduct scientific experiments. One person will stay in the airship in case of an emergency. Thien Cung 1, China's first space station module, was launched into orbit in September 2011.

Last weekend, Shenzhou 9 and Truong Chinh-2F missiles moved to the launch pad. Yesterday, China conducted a successful test of the entire system related to the Shenzhou 9 accurately in extreme weather conditions such as thunder and high temperatures.
