The Charolais cow is called Barnsford Ferny. It is over two meters tall and weighs nearly two tons, equivalent to an adult hippopotamus and twice as many other cows. The owner of this cow is Charlie Boden, who lives in Stockport, Greater Manchester. He said it was raised for breeding.
"Barnsford has bred 50 calves on our farm. People from other places also come here to breed. At least 100 other calves have been born by artificial insemination in the past year , " Boden said.
According to the Telegraph, those who saw Barnsford Ferny were surprised and thought they had never seen a bigger one. At the farm, this white cow lives with 20 other individuals with the same diet.
Charolais is a beef breed originating from France. They weigh an average of 900kg to 1,100kg.
