Detect one more planet
Astronomers have discovered a planet with the most Earth-like structure so far located near the center of the Milky Way.
Many planets will be detected by microlensing techniques
It is said that the planet consists of rocks and temperatures of about 200 degrees Celsius, and is about three times farther away from the planet between the earth and the sun.
Astronomers discovered the planet by a technique called microlensing - the technique that uses the light of a star bent by the magnetic field of a weaker star before it.
Professor Michael Bode, of John Moores University in Liverpool, says this is another important step in the search for life on other planets.
He said: " What we want to do in the framework of this project is to find planets like globes that are in orbit of other stars . "
" This is an important step in this direction and the micro-lensing technique we use is the only way to help people discover these planets from the earth ."
" The planet we discovered is not the planet, but we can find life on it, because the temperature on it is too cold ."
The planet, called code OGLE-2005-BLG-390Lb, takes about 10 years to orbit the parent planet's orbit, a small red star like the Sun but colder and smaller.
The microlensing technique used to detect this planet was first thought of by the scientist Albert Einstein in 1912.
This discovery is the joint work of three microlensing groups, called PLANET / RoboNet, OGLE and MOA, bringing together scientists from 12 countries.
So far, about 160 planets have been discovered outside the solar system, but only three planets have been identified by microlensing techniques.
Scientists are trying to discover more new worlds thanks to microlensing techniques and they also seek to improve this technique.
