Detecting Saturn satellite has the same smell as
Researchers say the main flavor appears in Titan - Saturn's largest satellite smells "delicate waste" mixed with gasoline.

A research group led by Joshua Sebree of the University of Northern Iowa (USA) recently conducted a trial and production of the main "flavor" formula that appeared in Titan - Saturn's largest satellite.
Titan is twice as big as the Moon and is Saturn's largest satellite. It had a thick atmosphere of orange smog with mostly Nito ingredients.

To do this experiment, scientists tried to mix Nito and methane - the two most common gases in Titan. But this only gives a kind of smell like "delicate waste" on the ground.
After that, experts began to incorporate several other compounds. The researchers added benzene and several different chemicals they thought might correspond to those obtained by the Cassini explorer ship.
At the conclusion of the experiment, the experts tried to analyze the results with a spectrophotometer and found that Titan possessed an extremely unpleasant odor. It is a combination of the smell of "delicate waste" and the smell of gasoline.
Sebree said: "They are really chemicals that smell so terrible to us . " This flavor smells of the subfamily of hydrocarbons so it has a fragrant smell. Benzene is a member of this "mixed family" and has a gasoline-like fragrance.
Therefore, most experts imagine, Titan is a huge gas station and many people come to buy gasoline and "fart".
Experts are now continuing to work to reconstruct the "flavor" of planets on Earth.
