Detecting the risk of dark energy

The latest research by British and Italian scientists demonstrates that our Milky Way is at risk of disappearing due to the effects of dark energy.

>>> New theory rejects dark energy

The latest astronomical data collected by experts from the Universities of Rome (Italy) and Postmouth (England) shows that the amount of dark matter in the universe is losing over time. This is a clear demonstration of the risk of the Milky Way disappearing by a mysterious source of energy (called dark energy).

The cause of this phenomenon is due to the interaction between dark energy and dark matter . Dark energy accounts for 68% of the cosmic component, while dark matter accounts for only 27%. Until now, humans have seen dark matter or dark energy, but have proved their existence through observing the effects.

Accordingly, both of these cosmic components possess almost completely opposite roles. Dark matter has the function of cosmic structure. Thanks to this kind of material, galaxies are formed and developed. Therefore, we have the feeling that galaxies are close together with the appearance of many new planets.

In the opposite direction, dark energy takes on the task of making the universe expand bigger and bigger. In other words, they cause galaxies to separate from each other forever.

Therefore, scientists believe dark energy may be the cause of the rapid disappearance of dark matter in the past few decades. In the future, when there is no dark matter, the universe in general and the Milky Way in particular will be swallowed up by the mysterious energy, becoming a black space and no longer see any planet, Which celestial body is inside.

Sharing more about the research, Professor David Wands at Postmouth University (UK) said: 'This is a study of the fundamental properties of space and time. In astronomy, this study refers to our own universe and its fate. If dark energy thrives causing dark matter to evaporate in large quantities, the human universe will become empty, pitch black and without any celestial bodies or planets'.
