This robot, named Robirds , resembles a raptor, flapping its wings in the air like no other bird. As the product of scientist Nico Nijenhuis, Robirds is responsible for flying around the area to protect the real birds.

Robirds are controlled remotely by staff using ground control systems. It has a body length of 58cm, a wingspan of 120cm, flies at a speed of up to 80km / h, enough to chase wild birds weighing up to 3kg. Gizmag reports that Robirds's other model is like the falcon with a wingspan of up to 220cm, which is even more terrifying for wild birds.

After successful testing, Robirds will be improved to be self-propelled. It is expected that the bird will be launched in 2015.
