Draw a map of the earth's magnetic field

A satellite that measures very small values in Earth's gravitational field is one of Europe's most important spatial plans in the near future.

Goce satellites have an arrow shape, with side ribs and electric motors to keep it balanced while flying through the atmosphere, to reach a height of 260km.

Goce will explore dangerous volcanic areas, giving us deeper, newer insights into the impact of the ocean.

By combining Earth's gravitational data with information about the height of the sea surface obtained from other satellites, scientists can track the direction and velocity of the flow of water.

'Now, we can only discover the vertical structure of the ocean between 150-200km. That is not enough for oceanographers. They need to be more detailed, deeper and Goce with their ribs, which will help us deepen 80- 100km further '- Dr. Jakob Flury, currently working with the University of Texas in Austin, USA, prize like that.
