Elon Musk predicts that humans will not need to talk to each other when we can use the same intellectual communication as aliens for the next 10 years.

In an episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience" , Elon Musk said that in the next 5-10 years , people will be able to communicate non-language like aliens.

Throughout the program, Elon Musk talked about topics ranging from brain implants to his privacy at home. But the idea of ​​people talking like aliens surprised Joe Rogan.

"One day, is it possible for humans to read each other's thoughts and transfer data from one person to another without language or physical means?" , Rogan asked Musk.

"Yes. Definitely," Musk replied.

However, he is not talking about texting, emailing or Snapchat. He said that there will be a signal system between people and artificial intelligence that allows people to transfer data to each other without using words.

"Our brain takes a lot of effort to compress a complex concept into words, so there will be a lot of information lost when compressed. You say those words, it will then be received and decompressed. by the listener, " Elon Musk explained.

He thinks it is difficult to convey a complex concept when you have to compress and decompress. People may not hear the words correctly so it will be difficult to understand each other.

That's why Musk believes nonverbal communication is an opportunity for people to exchange information with one another. He also thinks people are still aiming for nonverbal communication.

Musk's Neutralink company is working on brain implant techniques that allow direct communication with a patient's brain to treat brain injuries. This method may be ready within the next year.

Musk believes that nonverbal communication will probably appear within the next 5-10 years, not now.

Musk has made many optimistic predictions as Tesla will develop mobility technology without human intervention by the end of 2019. So far, the technology has not been finalized.
