Mr. Musk declared that Tesla will manufacture batteries "crisis", run by wind power in 100 days. If expired, the company will have to free the entire works for Australia.

The giant battery is designed to help solve the frequent power cuts in South Australia. Critics say that dependence on renewable energy sources has pushed the region into a recession.

Debates on Twitter triggered a series of activities in Australia. Three of Tesla's rivals - Zen Energy, Carnegie Clean Energy and Lyon Group - have tried to offer lower rates and shorter lead times. Ultimately, the four companies have been invited by the South Australian government to bid for a portion of the $ 150 million project, including the construction of a giant battery and other renewable energy sources.
