Equipment in place for military vehicles

Corps 2 has successfully produced specialized equipment used to turn cars, with unlimited rotation, in narrow road conditions.

Maj. Ngo Hung Son, battalion commander of Battalion 51, Corps 2, said that when cars meet difficult terrains, they do not have enough space to turn their heads around. This is to turn the car head with the angle of rotation is unlimited, both sides of the road enough space is greater than 7m.

The construction of the equipment is very simple, including: 20 tons hydraulic jack, the bar, the wheel lock.

Before the operation, the car was fitted under the car. On the way of operation, when the car turns, the hydraulic jack and the pad are placed in place on the road, the parts are firmly bonded to each other; Next, lift the forklift off the ground, making sure the wheel is about 25cm from the ground.

The driver and his assistant make a new turnaround, then dump, dismantle, complete the turn.

On-site turnaround equipment is considered by experts to be very practical in situations where convoys are operating on narrow roads and need to change directions in a timely and secret way.

The initiative applies to the Zin-130 truck with a maximum load of 15 tonnes. For different types of cars, Mr. Son said, simply changing the bar components, axle and wheel axles will apply this initiative.
