Exploring the universe has always been the lofty mission of astronomers.

Since its inception, the Kepler spacecraft has discovered 1,028 planets and 22 of them are believed to have conditions suitable for life. NASA is specifically looking for a planet in the "habitable zone " whose surface temperature may exist in liquid water.

The space agency announced it would hold a press conference to announce: "A new discovery of the planet hunting mission, Kepler Space Telescope". This event will take place at 4pm on July 23, 2015 and may be related to the discovery of a second Earth capable of supporting life.
