Finding the Hand of God in the universe

Cloud cloud of glowing nebula like CG4 , about 1,300 light-years from Earth. The image was announced on January 28 by the European Space Research Organization in the southern hemisphere. In the picture, it is described as "the hand of God" , with a long tail about 8 light-years away.

"The first part of CG4 is seen on the image about 1.5 light-years in diameter", ESO statement said.

According to IBTimes, the first part of CG4 is a thick cloud of opaque dust and gas, not easily observable. It is visible and colorful because of the nearby stars shining. Its nature is still a mystery to scientists.

The Chandra telescope of the US Aerospace Agency (NASA) once captured a giant hand-like image with open fingers. It is caused by a metamorphosis (a super-dead star, spinning rapidly and releasing much energy into the surrounding space), forming, about 17,000 light-years from Earth.
