Future technology helps people talk to animals

Recently, a geneticist and molecular biologist, Adriana Heguy, has studied the dog language and the complexities that make it impossible to understand human language.

So researchers think of developing an artificial nose that allows humans to accurately decipher what the dog sniffs at the same time.

Dogs have "proper brain mechanisms to handle language".

Scientists have documented that a Border Collie dog named Rico can understand more than 200 commands. That proves they fully understand what people say. New research shows that dogs use brain regions similar to humans to interpret words and distinguish between sounds.

It reinforces the idea that dogs have a "proper brain-processing mechanism". We are proud to be the only species that use and develop language but the ability to comprehend is not encapsulated in the 7 billion people on Earth.

The findings above allow researchers to develop effective methods to teach animals to understand human language and to develop technology that supports practical communication between species.

There are still many issues that need to be addressed and clarified. But the scientific community is optimistic about the near positive changes. Not so far, future technology can help us understand and love the dog.
