Horse also has mustache

A 10-year-old horse in England became famous thanks to the yellow curly mustache. Seemingly aware of the advantages of the beard, he always tries to run away whenever he sees someone pulling.

Alfie is a hybrid horse of the Shire genus. He lived on a farm in Bitton Village, county of Gloucestershire, England. Alfie's mustache looks a bit weird because it is yellow, while the fur on the face of the animal is black and white. That's why every farm worker thinks that a beard should not exist.

But Alfie was proud of the weird face. The horse never let anyone walk into his cage for fear of cutting the mustache. Every attempt to cut the beard failed. 'Alfie always ran away if he thought we were going to cut his mustache,' said Justine Greenslade, a farm worker.

Mustache rarely grows on horse bodies although horses with mustaches have appeared in many paintings of surrealist painters.

Shire is the largest large horse in the planet and originated in central England. They are often used to pull cars, transport goods and do other heavy things. Shire horses have an average length of 1.7 meters and can weigh up to 1 ton (while horses usually have an average weight of 300-400 kg). During the war in the Middle East hundreds of years ago, people often ride Shire because only they can carry warriors wearing armor.
