How do honey bees regulate the temperature in the nest?

Whether it is hot or cold, honey bees maintain the temperature in the nest to a certain extent, facilitating the incubation. They do so thanks to a complex distribution system and biodiversity of the herd. This is the remark of biologist Julia Jones and colleagues, University of Sydney (Australia).

The team said: when the queen bee hatches eggs, the temperature in the nest should be kept strictly at 32-36 O C. When it is hot, they will flap their wings to fan the hot air, dropping water on the nest to make Cool and even migrate to another place. When it's cold, they curl around the eggs in spheres, squeezing the chest and producing heat from the flying muscles.
