"In order to join hands with the whole country to quickly repel the Covid-19 epidemic effectively, the university's research team came up with an idea and embarked on perfecting the product. In fact, it can be seen that the automatic disinfection system works very effectively, this is also the achievement of the university's research team, we are still conducting further research and wish to replicate the model for localities. disease is taking place, reducing human strength" - Dr. Do Van Dinh shared.

"This is one of the typical research projects of the university, contributing to quickly repelling the Covid-19 epidemic during this complicated period," said Dr. Dinh.

Immediately after completion, the school cooperated with Hai Duong Provincial Department of Health to install the above 3 systems at 3 provincial quarantine checkpoints (post A) including: In Hoang Tien ward (on Highway 18, adjacent to Dong Trieu town, Quang Ninh); at the beginning of Pha Lai bridge (on National Highway 18, adjacent to Que Vo district, Bac Ninh); and stop at the intersection of Hanoi - Hai Phong highway (the section through Gia Loc toll station). The total cost after completing the installation of the automatic disinfection system is nearly 200 million VND.

As noted by the reporter, the automatic disinfection sprayer system is designed with 2 devices located on both sides of the lane. On the two devices with sensors attached, the sprayer is suitable for the height of the cars. Each unit has a high-pressure pump motor used to pump disinfectant solution from the fuel tank to the injectors. When a motor vehicle passes by, sensors will recognize the vehicle height to control the pump and pressure valve. Along with that, the nozzles will spray a mist-like solution suitable for the height of the vehicle, including the tank truck; container truck.

A representative of the Red Star University research team said that the advantage is that the automatic disinfection sprayer system can operate 24/24 hours, even in sunny or rainy weather conditions. The solution is evenly distributed over the surface of the motor vehicle to save manpower, the solution is faster and more efficient than the manual method as before. Moreover, when passing by, cars do not have to stop but still roll slowly at a speed of 5 km/h, without causing traffic jams.

Before that, at the beginning of 2021, lecturers of the Faculty of Food and Chemistry of Red Star University researched and continued to produce over 6,000 liters of dry hand sanitizer (Nano silver) to promptly supply to staff, lecturers and suppliers. granted free of charge to agencies and units in the area of ​​Chi Linh city; The faculty of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering successfully manufactured a full-body disinfection chamber with a small, compact design, convenient to move, and operated by an automatic mechanism; research and manufacture 10 automatic hand sanitizer machines equipped in working houses, dormitories, lecture halls and experimental practice centers.

In particular, before the complicated development of the Covid-19 epidemic in Chi Linh City and Hai Duong province, to prevent and reduce the risk of infection, to ensure the health of the medical team. With the spirit of initiative, creativity, and speed after 32 hours of work, the school's staff and lecturers successfully built a robot to transport necessities, donated it to field hospitals, and isolated areas. concentrated in Hai Duong province, contributing to reducing the workload for medical staff and service people.
